AAA Potassium Phosphate KH2PO4

Potassium Phosphate – KH2PO4  0-52-34

Monopotassium Phosphate(kh2po4) is a source of Potassium (K) necessary for protein synthesis and for plants to metabolize Iron (Fe).  Phosphorus (P) an essential component for the conversion of light into sugars during photosynthesis

GUARANTEED ANALYSIS (%)

Available Phosphate(P2O5) ………………..52%

Soluble Potash(K2O)……………………….. 34%

To make a typical stock solution add 12g of dry KH2PO4 to 500ml of RO or distilled water and then add 6ml of this per 100L of tank. Dose 3 times a week.

This will give you 1 ppm increase of PHOSPHATE.

Dosing:  0.14g(1/64 TSP)  of KH2PO4 with give you 1 ppm increase of PHOSPHATE in 100L (26 US gallons) of water.

The target is 1-2 ppm per week if you use  EI METHOD

Amounts above are for reference only.  Your planted aquarium may need more or less depending on many factors.

 Appropriate engineering controls
Avoid raising dust. Keep away from naked flames/heat. Measure the concentration in the air regularly. Carry operations in the open/under local exhaust/ventilation or with respiratory protection.

Individual protection measures, such as personal protective equipment Observe normal hygiene standards. Keep container tightly closed. Do not eat, drink or smoke during work. a) Respiratory protection: Dust production: dust mask with filter type P1. b) Hand protection: Gloves. – materials for protective clothing (good resistance) Rubber. c) Eye protection: Safety glasses. In case of dust production: protective goggles. d) Skin protection: Protective clothing.
